美國舊金山東灣牡丹詩社於2004年由劉惠如、喻麗清、徐敏子三位文化義工發起成立,是一個非牟利機構,每年4、5月閒舉辦一次牡丹詩會,為灣區詩歌愛好者提供一個交流平臺,是迄今爲止灣區唯一的同類文化活動。在過去的七屆詩會中,共有85位詩友提交了189件作品,先後以牡丹、春天、希望、人間情、回憶、往事為主題的歷屆詩會,引發詩友們熾熱的詩情詩意,如今詩會已成為灣區文化活動的一部分,深受社區歡迎。
